What is adult day health care?
Community-Based Adult Services (CBAS) is California's Medi-Cal adult day health care program. At a licensed center, eligible older adults and adults with disabilities receive nursing care, therapies, meals, social activities, and transportation during the day, then return home each evening. CBAS replaced the state's older Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) benefit in 2012.
